WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
My favorite images I could ever own are these two photographs of my grandparents wedding day, back in May of 1950 (you do the math). Whenever I look at these images I am reminded of the impact I have on family heirlooms all around the world. With my photography, I can take you back in time to your most favorite memories, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. As a very emotional, and endlessly romantic person, I love to be part of my clients special day. If you wonder why I don't wear any eyeliner on your wedding day, it is because I will most likely shed a tear or two with you.
I have many favorite moments on a wedding day, but creating everlasting friendships with my clients must be on top of that list. I am truly humbled every time a couple decides to hire my services, and at the end of the line, gain new friendships all around the globe. My eye for detail and ability to anticipate certain moments help me document your dream wedding in a unique and timeless manner. I hope to be working with you soon!

I was born and raised in Holland, and moved to the Dominican Republic for the love of my life in 2010.

I speak three languages fluently; Dutch, English and Spanish and a bonus language would be German.

I rarely watch any tv, even growing up I preferred reading books, which is still a favorite pass time for me.

I don't like cheese (or at least thats what I say) but I love pizza and fried cheese.

I would prefer to spend money on experiences over material things, yet shopping is one of my favorite things to do.

I cannot live without Coca Cola, trust me, I have tried.

My favorite music is anything Latin, thats what I listen to while I am editing all your stunning images.

People think I am an extrovert because I am really open to everyone, yet I consider myself to be an introvert and I love to be by myself.

I call myself privileged to have been raised in a country with equal rights for marriages. Same gender couples have a special place in my heart and serving them is always an honor. I consider myself an inclusive photographer for any couple, no matter religion, gender or color.

I have met many of my good friends through my small business and it makes my heart incredibly grateful.
